1985 – 86

The Dream Takes Root

As a 2nd-standard student, a simple family walk turned into a life-changing moment. Witnessing a 'Bus Pooja' under the soft evening lights ignited a childhood promise: "One day, I will buy a bus." This vision became the foundation of Swamiraj Tourism.

1993 – 98

Hardship & Learning

Before entering the business, I learned life the hard way. Working as a casual laborer at Advani Oerlikon for ₹30/day and moving into door-to-door sales for National Panasonic built the grit, street smartness, and people skills essential for entrepreneurship.

1999

The First Milestone

The childhood promise was fulfilled with our first 27-seater bus. To ensure the highest quality, I personally stayed at the coach factory in Indore for 70 days, mastering every technical detail of bus body building. My mother named the company "Swamiraj."

2002

Resilience in Crisis

Following a tough partnership split, I started afresh with Shree Swami Samartha Tours & Travels. Starting with just one Tempo Traveller, the struggle was immense. Despite suggestions to take a regular job, my faith kept the wheels moving.

2004

Pioneering AC Travel

Innovation was our response to adversity. I introduced Pune’s first AC Tourist Tempo Traveller. While others doubted the high tax risks, the market loved the comfort, and Swamiraj soon became a pioneer in luxury passenger transport.

2007

The Power of Partnership

A new chapter began as my wife, Kanaka, joined as a business partner. Her support strengthened our operations, allowing us to expand into 27-seater luxury AC coaches and dominate the regional tourism market with reliability.

2011

The Volvo Era

Recognizing the demand for premium travel, we introduced the Volvo Coach. This strategic move elevated Swamiraj to a top-tier luxury service provider, catering to high-end corporate and tourist clients across Maharashtra.

Today, we lead with safety tech like ADAS and Alcohol Breathalyzers. Beyond business, as National Vice President of BOCI, I work to bring dignity and innovation to every wheel that moves our nation, honoring that childhood promise.
